GT Masters is a multiclass championship featuring GT3 and GT4 cars on the iRacing platform. Each round consists of a one-hour race, although during the season, one or more races may be longer (typically 1 hour and 20 minutes) and award more points than the standard one-hour events.

The cars have limited fuel capacity, making a pit stop for refueling mandatory.

After each race, participants may file a protest against another driver. The protest is reviewed by Race Control, and those found responsible for incidents are penalized with championship and license points in accordance with the series rulebook.

When a driver accumulates a certain number of license points, penalties are applied—such as being excluded from the qualifying session, which automatically places them at the back of the grid for the next race. In some cases, the penalties can be more severe, including starting from the pit lane or even temporary or permanent suspension from future rounds.
