51 drivers, a massive incident at “The Esses,” and a commanding victory by Bulgaria’s Gabriel Ivanov marked one of the most intense races of the season.

Qualification: A Fight to the Very Last Meter

Round 2 of the SIMGEAR GT Masters 2025/2026 brought a record 51 drivers to the grid – 36 in GT3 (AM, PRO-AM and PRO) and 15 in GT4.

Qualifying turned into a thriller in its final seconds. Yoan Neshev (Negative Delta by iLiveries) jumped to the top with a 1:41.583, beating Ventsislav Raychinov (Negative Delta by SimGear.bg) by only 0.016 seconds – 1:41.599.

Third qualified Gabriel Ivanov (Negative Delta by Madness) with 1:41.783, yesterday’s fastest man in the official free practice.

In GT4, Hunor Horchy (VGTR eSports powered by Hiperspec) topped the class with 1:52.750, followed by Martin Yankov (ST SIM RACING) at 1:53.004 and Daniel Sztruska (VGTR) with 1:53.216.

The Massive Incident That Changed Everything

After a clean start for the GT3 field, tension exploded during the climb through The Esses. Contact between several cars triggered a massive pile-up, forcing multiple drivers to retire.

Neshev retained the lead, while in GT4 Daniel Sztruska took charge after a flawless opening.

Lead Changes and New Contenders

After a few laps, Gabriel Ivanov overtook Ventsislav Raychinov and closed in on the leader Neshev.

On lap 10, Ivanov made his move and took the lead.

Shortly after, Raychinov attempted a pass into Turn 7 “Toe,” leading to contact and sending Neshev off the track with a heavy impact that ended his podium hopes.

This opened the door for a new name at the front: Ture Molarin (Paddock.gg). The Swedish driver once again showed his adaptability and quickly established himself as a serious contender.

Behind him followed teammate Łukasz Sypuła and the impressive debutant Leon Kiermeier (Machspeed Racing).

On lap 18, Raychinov made a second pit stop, effectively removing him from the battle for the top spots.
