The sixth round delivered excitement on the Japanese stages

SIMGEAR Rally Cup – Rally Japan brought together 72 drivers who faced 144.3 km of special stages. The rally was filled with surprises, drama, and success for Bulgarian competitors across different categories.


LADA Cup: Dulichki and Pondev in the Top 3

In the LADA Cup class, Dimitar Dulichki climbed to third place, impressing with pace and sportsmanship. He now has 162 points in the overall standings.

Another Bulgarian, Iskren Pondev, finished second, adding 114 points. He won the Pirka Menoko II stage and highlighted the thrilling battle with Dulichki as his biggest satisfaction.

The favorite, Alexander Zhdanov from Russia, once again triumphed and increased his tally to 217 points.


R4 Class: Bergmanis Takes the Win, Sentkowski Stays Leader

Germany’s Nils Sentkowski with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X finished third but remains the championship leader with 198 points. Victory in Japan went to Oskars Bergmanis from Latvia, who impressed with consistency and a strong final day.

Second place went to Nikolay Nikitin from Russia.


Rally 4: Bulgarian Domination by Genovski and Sali

Rally 4 brought the most reasons for Bulgarian pride. Yuliyan Genovski with a Renault Clio won the rally convincingly and remains the class leader with 179 points.

Nesrin Sali, also with a Renault Clio, finished second and now holds 142 points overall.

Third place on the podium went to Russia’s Anton Lisov, who had a strong Sunday performance.


Rally 3: Pandzharov on the Podium

Bulgarian driver Rusi Pandzharov finished third in Rally 3 with a Renault Clio, bringing his season tally to 137 points. Victory went to Jack Rackham from Barbados, who continues his dominance with 228 points. Second place went to Hungary’s Makk Sebestyén.

TOP 10: Bogdanowicz with a Sensational Triumph

In the overall standings, victory surprisingly went to Poland’s Jurek Bogdanowicz with a Ford Fiesta. He outpaced Finland’s Jesse Turunen and fellow Pole Damian Skupień, who completed the podium.

After an exciting round in Japan, the SIMGEAR Rally Cup moves to the United Kingdom for the penultimate round of Season 3. Fans can expect another dose of thrilling battles and more Bulgarian success stories.
